Pioneering Sustainability and Quality at Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar Convention Centre

Starting in 2025, the Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar Convention and Exhibition Centre (ICEC) has embarked on a comprehensive transformation journey to achieve international standards in quality, environmental, and energy management. Pursuing ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and GSTC MICE certifications simultaneously, ICEC aims to become the first convention centre in Turkey to hold all four certifications at once.

This transformation is built upon:

  • Quality processes prioritizing customer satisfaction,
  • Environmentally conscious waste and resource management policies,
  • Operational changes enhancing energy efficiency,
  • Initiatives supporting social, cultural, and economic sustainability.

By successfully completing ISO audits and applying for GSTC MICE certification by the end of 2025, ICEC aims not only to achieve a national milestone but also to become a globally recognized model for sustainable event venues.
